Dear Jean-Claude, dear Philip,

since I am now in a position, where I can receive and send to the European Winlink stations, I am frequently using your service for my emails etc. and I must say yours is one of the most reliable and stable stations around. Currently I am west of Portugal at 37° N; 12°W, on my way from the Caribbean via the Azores to Mallorca and I really want to expres my appreciation for your service, your dedication and personal (and I believe financial) investment to provide such great and valuable service to the sailors around. I can assure you, we all rely on this service very much. It gets us into a position, which is by far better then the situation was just some years ago in the professional navigation (which now of course has too changed dramatically due to satellite commniucations, GPS, etc). However, it is unbelievable what the amateur community has created here and it fully substitutes this "profesional high-tech" equipment. But this all wouldn't work without dedicated people like you, and therefore let me please express my very thanks to you.
